Hudhud Cyclone Updates By Vaikundarajan

Cyclone Hudhud
The eastern coast of India is wretched by the Cyclone Hudhud from Sunday morning. Trees have been uprooted, buildings and houses are damaged and at least 5 people lost their lives till now, says Vaikundarajan. Despite the major evacuation efforts taken by the state government, people have been injured and killed as they have not adhered to warnings and government instructions.

Vaikundarajan states that the port city of Vishakhapatnam is wrecked and quoting the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he also feels that ‘the extent of the damages caused will only be seen after the storm is over.’

Owing to the evacuation activity, the casualties are still minimized and less harm was caused to life. The armed forces and the National Disaster Response Force have dispatched teams for rescue and relief operations in the cyclone-hit areas in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. Rescue missions are on board posted in all danger zones to ensure the safety of the people of AP, Odisha and neighboring areas.

Vaikundarajan prays that the people affected by this cyclone recover soon and hopes for their well being after the storm subsides.
