Vaikundarajan Sends His Wishes To The Newly Married Couple – Dinesh Karthik and Dipika Pallikal

Dipika Pallikal is best known for winning gold in the squash women's doubles event (along with Joshna Chinnapa) at the 20th Commonwealth Games, 2014. In the following year, she came out victorious in the Winnipeg Winter Club Open held in Canada. She is also a recipient of the Padma Shri Award (2014) and Arjuna Award (2012) for her contribution to Squash.

Dinesh Karthik is a well-known wicket keeper/batsman who represents India at international level. He also plays a vital role for IPL team Royal Challengers Bangalore.

One may wonder how two athletes from distinct sports found their destinies entwined together. The couple met at a gym working under the same trainer where they got to know each other. Things fell in place from there on.

On 18th August, Dinesh Karthik tied knot with Dipika Pallikal in a Christian ceremony held in Chennai. The sports couple will marry again in a Telegu – Naidu style wedding on 20th August.
