The screenplay is written by Farah Khan, Althea Kaushal and dialogues by Mayur Puri. The film has a huge star cast in it starring Shah Rukh Khan,  Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone,  Boman Irani,  Sonu Sood, Vivaan Shah and Jackie Shroff says Vaikundarajan.

The much awaited Shah Rukh Khan’s film, ‘Happy New Year’ first look to be unveiled today shares Vaikundarajan. This one of the year’s most anticipated mega releases. The film features Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles whereas other members in the casting include Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani and Vivaan Shah says Vaikundarajan. This film comes from Shah Rukh’s home production, Red Chillies Entertainment Private LTD. The movie was in news because Farha Khan and Shah Rukh will be working together after 7 years after their much hyped controversial fight adds, Vaikundarajan.

The event of releasing first look of Happy New Year is going to take place at Sahara Star Hotel in Mumbai and SRK has already planned for its promotions.
