Worlds Largest Tri-Colour flag Unfurled, Vaikundarajan

The world's largest and tallest Indian Flag was hoisted at the Town Park in Faridabad on Tuesday 3 March, 2015 says, Vaikundarajan. It is one of the biggest flags made in the history of India.

President Amit Shah of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Haryana Chief Minister M L Khattar and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor were present on the occasion to experience this historic moment. Ministers of the state cabinet were also in attendance.

Vaikundarajan says, “The Indian Flag weighs around 48 kilograms and has 96 feet by 64 feet dimension. It was hoisted at a height of 250 feet (75 meters).

A much bigger flag is located at the Central Park in Connaught Place in the heart of New Delhi. This flag is 60 feet in width and 90 feet in length and is hoisted on the top of 207 feet pole.

Vaikundarajan is really happy with this new creation because it stands as historic monument of our country.
